What is urgent is the evangelization of a world that not only does not know the basic aspects of Christian dogma, but in great part has lost even the memory of the cultural elements of Christianity.

I am convinced that the crisis in the Church that we are experiencing today is to a large extent due to the disintegration of the liturgy.

WHY SHOULD YOU DONATE?

Free CD of Holy Catholic Prayers in Latin and English

This is why

For 15 years the Boston Catholic Journal has sending out FREE CDs of our Holy Catholic Prayers in Latin and English —

 throughout the entire world!

Prayer changes lives. For the better. Always. There is no greater, no more effective way to change our lives and those of others —  for the good — than prayer ... praying to God. Prayer is the communication between God and man. We will not know God apart from prayer, this dialogue between God and man, anymore than we will come to know anyone apart from speaking to them and listening to them.

Through prayer alone we come to know God's will for us.

Prayer is God vis-à-vis man.

You can give nothing, absolutely nothing, to another greater than a prayer. In prayer you are bringing God — and there is no one and nothing that is a greater good than God — into the lives of others, asking of Him what they may not  and sometimes will not, or dare not, ask for themselves. Perhaps they do not know how ... to pray.

AND SO ...

All of us at the Boston Catholic Journal have worked without any pay or any earthly compensation.
The money required to produce the CDs and to mail them from Boston to people all over America and from as far away as Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Japan to Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, and India ... to name just a few ... has come directly from our own personal income. Teaching others to pray as Holy Mother Church has prayed for over 2000 years is, we believe, the will of God for us. Simply out, HE wants us to do it.

Yes, we have received donations from individuals over the years, but nothing near the cost of continuing in this Apostolate. We have been moved by the generosity of others — especially those who have little and send a hand scribbled note in a letter containing $2.00 ... How can we ever repay them? We cannot. God knows this, and He Himself pays our debt to them in ways we will never know in this life. God is never outdone in generosity!

We are not a “company” or a “corporation” — we are a handful of men and women just like you — on a mission: that every Catholic in the world should know their holy prayers in the language of the Church — Latin — and in English. Prayer always changes people's lives. And always for the better.

Your donation is not tax-deductible, and it will not benefit you in any way that the world can see. Of one thing we are certain: that Christ is true to His word:

Date et dabitur vobis — Give and it will be given to you ... for with the same measure that you give, it shall be measured to you again” (St. Luke 6.38)

We have seen it. We have lived it. And now, toward the end of our own resources, we invite you to join in our Apostolate, too — that it may continue.

You can only send your donation by mail. We do not squander a penny of it using on-line payment systems. Please pray about it, and if you wish to assist us you can send your donation to:
