Happy New Year?
I think not
It
is not
a “Happy” new year.
It is the inauguration of greater suffering, trial,
testing, and confirming in Holy Mother Church.
She has been thrown to Her knees — and those who will scourge Her most
cruelly are in Her very bosom; those who profane Her remorselessly will
be those who have taken Holy Orders, Vows, and Promises that they will
mock by what they say and what they do — and fail to do! It is likely
a year of great, great apostasy …
Do not seek solace in anointing these days “The Purification of
the Church” — for to be purified is to be submitted to fire
— fire that cleanses all the putrefaction and purulence that infects,
corrupts, and disfigures the Body of Christ — which is His Church.
She will be lacerated and afflicted — agony will be
Her daily bread, and the most bitter draught the wine of Her affliction
— but “by these
stripes She will be healed”.
The suffering
to come we cannot imagine any more than the beauty to be revealed beyond
it.
Miserere, Domine. Miserere!
